Fragrant and colourful, the Hunter's Country House gardens create an idyllic setting for this opulent retreat in the heart of the Garden Route. Secluded within the gardens are 23 luxurious suites, individually designed and decorated, each uniquely distinctive. The thatched cottage suites are plush and calming, decorated in a pale green and oyster palette accented with a romantic sparkle of crystal trimmed canopies and dainty chandeliers.

All suites have private patios and gardens. Certain suites have their own plunge pools while all guests can enjoy the hotel’s large sparkling outdoor pool. We have the Cub's Corner for smaller children and the Teen Scene room for older children. The establishment also offers conference facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access is available in all public areas.

Hunter's Country House is only 10 km from Plettenberg Bay and 22 km from Knysna along the N2. Our signboards are clearly visible at the entrance to our access road, which leads you to the security entrance to the estate.
