Inversanda Farm Cottages
Description
The farmhouse was built to a scale more commonly found on the sugar cane estates of the north coast of KwaZulu-Natal and was much larger than the family needed. The private wing was therefore converted into a self-contained unit to help the farm get on its feet. The first bedroom contains an extra-length king-size bed. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds. The cottage has a kitchenette, a dining room, and a large sitting room with a fireplace, which makes it really cosy in winter. It has its own entrance and garden. There is a verandah with a magnificent view of the Nhlosane mountain.

The Barn Cottage was one of the original farm tractor sheds and comfortably sleeps 6. It is situated in a kikuyu field above the farmhouse where the horses often graze. The main bedroom contains an extra-length king-size bed and a full en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds, a bunk bed, and a shower en suite. There is a large open-plan fully equipped kitchen and sitting room with a fireplace. The large verandah offers a wonderful view of the Nhlosane mountain.

The Judge’s House is the largest cottage, and can accommodate up to 8 guests. The main bedroom contains a double bed and an en suite. The second, third and fourth bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. These rooms share a family bathroom and a guest toilet. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a formal dining room and large sitting room with a fireplace. There is a veranda on 2 sides of the house to suit anytime of day, affording extensive views of the valley.
