Description

Invicta Country Lodge is a self-catering property, located on a picturesque farm on the banks of the Little Mooi River in the beautiful Kamberg Valley, in the Natal Midlands. The 13-hectare property features its own private dam.

Accommodation at Invicta Country Lodge comprises 1 main house and a cottage. These 2 units are booked together to accommodate a group of 14 persons.

The main house consists of 4 bedrooms, a loft bedroom, and 3 bathrooms. The bedrooms are furnished with a double bed or twin beds, and the loft bedroom is equipped with 2 bunk beds, 3 single beds and a sleeper couch. 2 of the rooms feature an en-suite, while the third bathroom is shared. The cottage has 1 en-suite bedroom.

The kitchen in the main house contains the basic appliances to cook meals. The dining area is adjacent to the lounge and entertainment area, which opens onto a patio. Invicta Country Lodge is surrounded by rich green pastures, rivers, and located near to the best trout fishing dams in KZN. One needs a high clearance vehicle to get to the lodge as it is a farm road to the lodge. Cell signal varies due to being in a valley high in the Kamberg Valley. The Lodge Invicta is surrounded by is a dairy farm and one will experience the cows at certain times of the day crossing the road to get to the dairy shed to be milked.

The farm has its own eco-system of an array of bird and wildlife. In addition, guests can partake in activities such as fly fishing, cycling, hiking and bird-watching on the farm. There are various attractions in and around the valley to visit. The property is also within close proximity to various restaurants and tourist attractions in the Midlands Meander.
