Iona @ Skye is an original labourers’ cottage, built in the 19th century. The cottage has been somewhat updated by the current owner; to retain its historic feel, she has used an eclectic and quirky approach to its décor. This reflects her interests and travels while still providing guests with everything they need for a stay in McGregor village.

The self-catering cottage can accommodate up to a maximum of 3 guests and contains 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchenette, dining and living area. The bedroom contains a double bed, and a small shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin.

The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-plate mini-stove and oven, a microwave, fridge, kettle, and cutlery and crockery. The living area features a sleeper couch that can accommodate a third guest, and a dining table and chairs. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available. Without a TV, the cottage is a perfect digital detox. Fans are provided to cope with summer heat, and heaters are provided during winter.

The cottage opens onto the street front and behind it is a private and secluded courtyard.
