Valley of Ironstone offers comfortable self-catering accommodation located on a working cattle farm, situated just 12.5 km from the historic town of Graaff-Reinet. It is ideal for a tranquil farm stay, with easy access to all of the town's amenities.

Accommodation comprises 3 self-catering cottages which are Ironstone, Wild Olive Cottage and Sunbird Cottages.

Ironstone Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 double rooms, each with their own bathroom. The cottage has Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fireplace in the sitting room, and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests also have a plunge pool, a braai area and an outdoor fire pit.

Wild Olive Cottage comes equipped with 1 bedroom and is suited to accommodate 2 guests. The bedroom features a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom which comes fitted with a shower, basin and loo. Other facilities include air-conditioning, a sitting room with kitchen, a fireplace, a private pool, Wi-Fi.

Sunbird Cottage is a 1 bedroom cottage with a king bed that can be made up in twin beds. There is a sitting room with kitchen, Wi-Fi, aircon, en-suite shower with loo, outdoor braai and 2 terraces with garden. Sunbird does not have a pool

The location boasts lovely scenery and is also ideal for activities such as mountain biking, hillwalking, stargazing, bird watching, and photography. A map with directions for walking and biking routes will be provided. Please note that a high clearance vehicle, or ideally a 4x4 vehicle are strongly recommended for reaching the farm.
