Joy's Place

Amazing place to stay. With a homey feeling.

Keith & Joy thought of everything. There is even juice, milk, water waiting for you in the fridge. Even mosquito liquid for those pesky insects. Fans in each room. When it's loadshedding they have backup power. What a bargain. Very restful. And so clean. The gardens and pool area are immaculate. Really worth staying there.

This was the second time at Joy's Place and like the first time, it was fantastic.

Keith is a super host, very helpful, goes out of his way to make you comfortable.

Keith is such a hands-on guy. He helped us with our luggage upon arrival. There were nice cold juice and bottled water in the fridge. Just what we needed. Sunday morning we got nice warm koeksisters. Keith and his wife Joy have beautiful souls. I would go visit Joy's place anytime. God bless them.

Phenomenal hosts.

Awesome cottage. We were made to feel so welcome and although we booked in as strangers we left as family. Highly recommend anybody joys place. Keith and Joy go, not just that extra mile, but that extra 100 miles to make your stay warmly welcoming. I highly recommend Joy's Place to anyone looking for a home away from home experience. Joy and Keith give you that plus more.

Great place, great host and great experience.

Our cottage was cozy, very neat, and contained everything we needed and more. Keith really went out of his way from keeping contact the whole time, to making sure we were catered for even when there was loadshedding and everything in between. Will definitely recommend Joy's Place to anyone wishing to visit the southern suburbs. 5/5 from us.

It was amazing. Thank you to Keith and his wife for an incredible weekend such nice lovable people I would recommend this place to everyone. I didn't feel like coming home, my kids even asked me to buy the place and let me not forget the owner's most lovable friendliest dog even, really going to miss the great hospitality and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know it's close to home and honestly value for your money.

The best place to take a break.

Keith and Joy was amazing, the whole experience was just the best, from hospitality down to just having a normal conversation. They cater to all your needs and is are just really good hearted people, happy to have stayed at their place. Will definitely be returning.

It was exceptional.

The place surpassed my expectation. I had my bridal shower at Joy's Place and it was exceptional, so much so that we booked an extra night just to further enjoy our honeymoon with our friends, will be making use of the other facilities on the premises. The host lives on the premises as well, if there was a rating for the host I would give him a 110%, such a beautiful human and a blessing he was indeed. He made our stay extra comfortable and was such a great help. We will definitely be returning.

Uitstekend diens en verblyf by Joy's Place.

Ek kan Joy's place hoog aanbeveel vir enige persoon wat Kaapstad wil besoek. Keith se diens was uitstekend en die verblyf was skoon, netjies en gemaklik. Baie dankie vir Keith en sy staff. Niks was te veel moeite vir Keith nie en hy het uit sy pad gegaan om ons verblyf aangenaam te maak.

A home away from home.

Joy's Place is literally home away from home. The host, Keith and Joy, are the most humbled, friendly and caring people. I think myself and Keith are good friends now. I've had my first cup of morning coffee with Keith. We had some Tribe coffee. It was a first for me. We also had a great morning chat around general daily life skills challenges which were a great deal for me as I've learnt so much from him. To end it off, Keith and Joy, are swift in their response to our needs. They are like genuine, concerned parents. They value their guests and therefore don't mind to go the extra in satisfying the needs of those staying over. Our kids really enjoyed themselves. I've never seen my daughter and her niece so happy to just be themselves. You guys have really done a good job. We are definitely coming back here in the new year. We nearly requested for an extra day but were considerate to the next guests checking in. To everyone looking for a perfect place to stay, Joy's Place is the best getaway stay.

Conveniently situated, beautifully furnished cottage, stunning gardens and clean pool and an absolute delightful stay.

TravelGround and the host, Keith, were in constant touch to ensure a good stay. They were so accommodating and I'll highly recommend both the website and Keith. On arrival, Keith welcomed us and ensured everything was 100%. The venue is better than the pictures. Our group of 10 ladies enjoyed their year end function at Joy's Place and have already made plans to book in their personal capacity. Dream venue. Dream price. Dream stay! Thank you to all!

As ek 6 uit 5 kon gee dan sou ek! Keith het uit sy pad gegaan om my tuis te laat voel en selfs aan sy vriende voorgestel. Het amper al die Lewis-familielede ontmoet. 'n Tuiste weg van die huis af!

Dit was nog die beste blyplek met die beste kliëntediens wat ek al ooit ervaar het.

Netheid is uitstekend, kliëntediens is uitstekend, blyplek het absoluut van alles. Ek sal dit vir seker aanbeveel vir enige iemand. Presies wat jy in die foto sien, is hoe dit is.

Die einenaar het tot my werkers geneem om iets te kry om te eet omdat hulle met die trok daar was en geen ander vervoer gehad het nie, dit was so great van hom.

The location, security, facilities and cleanliness was exceptional, our host was friendly and professional and went the extra mile. I would highly recommend this venue to visitors both local and international. The garden and pool area was exceptional for morning coffee or just to relax and take in the tranquility.
