Baie lekker gebly. Avocado Cottage was skoon en gerieflik ingerig. Daar was komplimentêre vars melk, water en koue vrugtesap beskikbaar in die yskas met aankoms.

Bo verwagting.

Baie aangenaam. Alles en nog meer as wat ons nodig gehad het. Gasheer loop meer as die ekstra myl.

Aangenaam.

Baie lekker. Die eenheid is ten volle toegerus.

The location near the hospital was ideal.

Joy's Place was better than described online and suited our needs perfectly. The UPS was very useful and protected our equipment from damage. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Wow, a wonderful jewel, friendly and very welcoming owners and staff. I only have pleasant experiences for staying here. They surprised me by washing my vehicle after a long trip from Nelspruit. The master took the initiative to prepare a fire/coals for a braai, which was desperately needed. Excellent service and will gladly recommend Joy's Place. The roses and Christmas flowers added to the relaxing atmosphere. Fairy lights in the garden created a festive and romantic experience.

Awesome host and beautiful place.

Had a warm welcome and the host went all out to make our stay memorable. Everything was in place and cleanliness on point. The garden and pool were something else. Really beautiful and well maintained. I enjoyed time in the garden with the sound of the train in the background. Lovely nice quiet place just what we needed. The host also surprised us with some beautiful Christmas decorations in the garden. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Our cottage at Joy's Place was sunny, bright, spotless, and spacious. Keith, our host, was very welcoming.

The cottage was large with a very well-equipped kitchen, a large fridge, gas available as well as solar power. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. There was a large garden and a swimming pool on the property.

Vriendelike, gasvrye en professionele personeel. Uiters netjiese en goed toegeruste eenhede. Baie veilige omgewing.

Die gastehuis bied alles wat nodig is vir 'n rustige, veilige en genotvolle vakansie. Dis naby aan die stad en al die bedrywighede geleë, maar na 'n besige dag kan mens terugkeer na die rustigheid en stilte wat die gastehuis bied. Die personeel doen ekstra moeite om gaste welkom en tuis te laat voel deur ekstras in die eenhede te plaas om die verblyf meer aangenaam te maak. Die eenheid is uiters netjies en goeie dekor is aangetref. Die prys per nag is bekostigbaar vir wat alles gebied word tydens die verblyf. Ek sal hierdie plek enige tyd aanbeveel vir ander en sal beslis weer van hul goeie diens gebruik maak. Ons het ons tyd daar geniet.

Hosts are amazing and accommodating.

We will definitely be making use of Joy's place for all other business travel.

We arrived as strangers and left as friends.

We had a large dog with us, who was also welcome. We felt part of a family. Keith looked out for us and looked after our dog while we were out. He also provided us with avos and koeksisters! A quiet and safe area to walk the dog. The car was secure and off the road. A central spot in Cape Town from where to visit family and friends. I will highly recommend Joy's Place to anybody.

Skoon en baie netjiese verblyf. Alles wat jy benodig, is daar. Weet nie eens van beurtkrag nie. Keith is 'n wonderlike host wat ons selfs 4h die oggend na die start van die 2Oceans toe aangery het. Sal beslis weer daar bly in toekoms. Dankie vir alles!

Amazing place to stay. With a homey feeling.

Keith & Joy thought of everything. There is even juice, milk, water waiting for you in the fridge. Even mosquito liquid for those pesky insects. Fans in each room. When it's loadshedding they have backup power. What a bargain. Very restful. And so clean. The gardens and pool area are immaculate. Really worth staying there.

This was the second time at Joy's Place and like the first time, it was fantastic.

Keith is a super host, very helpful, goes out of his way to make you comfortable.

Keith is such a hands-on guy. He helped us with our luggage upon arrival. There were nice cold juice and bottled water in the fridge. Just what we needed. Sunday morning we got nice warm koeksisters. Keith and his wife Joy have beautiful souls. I would go visit Joy's place anytime. God bless them.

Awesome cottage. We were made to feel so welcome and although we booked in as strangers we left as family. Highly recommend anybody joys place. Keith and Joy go, not just that extra mile, but that extra 100 miles to make your stay warmly welcoming. I highly recommend Joy's Place to anyone looking for a home away from home experience. Joy and Keith give you that plus more.

Great place, great host and great experience.

Our cottage was cozy, very neat, and contained everything we needed and more. Keith really went out of his way from keeping contact the whole time, to making sure we were catered for even when there was loadshedding and everything in between. Will definitely recommend Joy's Place to anyone wishing to visit the southern suburbs. 5/5 from us.

I didn't feel like coming home, my kids even asked me to buy the place and let me not forget the owner's most lovable friendliest dog even, really going to miss the great hospitality and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know it's close to home and honestly value for your money.

The best place to take a break.

Keith and Joy was amazing, the whole experience was just the best, from hospitality down to just having a normal conversation. They cater to all your needs and is are just really good hearted people, happy to have stayed at their place. Will definitely be returning.

It was exceptional.

The place surpassed my expectation. I had my bridal shower at Joy's Place and it was exceptional, so much so that we booked an extra night just to further enjoy our honeymoon with our friends, will be making use of the other facilities on the premises. The host lives on the premises as well, if there was a rating for the host I would give him a 110%, such a beautiful human and a blessing he was indeed. He made our stay extra comfortable and was such a great help. We will definitely be returning.

Keith is definitely the host with most outstanding hospitality. Not only was accommodation, way beyond our expectation. He went the extra mile ensure that we were all comfortable, feel welcome and at home. His personality that's just made for hospitality. A home away from home.

Joy's Place is literally home away from home. The host, Keith and Joy, are the most humbled, friendly and caring people. I think myself and Keith are good friends now. I've had my first cup of morning coffee with Keith. We had some Tribe coffee. It was a first for me. We also had a great morning chat around general daily life skills challenges which were a great deal for me as I've learnt so much from him. To end it off, Keith and Joy, are swift in their response to our needs. They are like genuine, concerned parents. They value their guests and therefore don't mind to go the extra in satisfying the needs of those staying over. Our kids really enjoyed themselves. I've never seen my daughter and her niece so happy to just be themselves. You guys have really done a good job. We are definitely coming back here in the new year. We nearly requested for an extra day but were considerate to the next guests checking in. To everyone looking for a perfect place to stay, Joy's Place is the best getaway stay.

TravelGround and the host, Keith, were in constant touch to ensure a good stay. They were so accommodating and I'll highly recommend both the website and Keith. On arrival, Keith welcomed us and ensured everything was 100%. The venue is better than the pictures. As ek 6 uit 5 kon gee dan sou ek! Keith het uit sy pad gegaan om my tuis te laat voel en selfs aan sy vriende voorgestel. Het amper al die Lewis-familielede ontmoet. 'n Tuiste weg van die huis af!

Dit was nog die beste blyplek met die beste kliëntediens wat ek al ooit ervaar het.

Netheid is uitstekend, kliëntediens is uitstekend, blyplek het absoluut van alles. Ek sal dit vir seker aanbeveel vir enige iemand. Presies wat jy in die foto sien, is hoe dit is.

The location, security, facilities and cleanliness was exceptional, our host was friendly and professional and went the extra mile. I would highly recommend this venue to visitors both local and international. The garden and pool area was exceptional for morning coffee or just to relax and take in the tranquility.
