Room that I was given did not have keys, my luggage was at risk.

I didn't lock my room for the number of days staying there, that made my luggage at risk. Son of the owner is very unprofessional, disrespecting the housekeeper, shouting at her in front of me as a client. I struggled with electricity though they have a generator. That was the cause for him shouting at us.

I would recommend as a one night stop over.

Relocating from Cape Town to KwaZulu-Natal. Our stay was just to break the very long journey. The hospitality we received was great.

Ons was vriendelik ontvang en het sommer gou aangepas. Ons het as gaste aangekom maar as vriende weggegaan.

Die ligging was perfek en was gerieflik naby die plek waar ons moes wees. Die eienaar was baie hulpvaardig en wou doodseker maak ons was gemaklik. Hy het persoonlik seker gemaak dat ons veilig was en het selfs kom seker maak alles is in die haak.

Ons het Kamer 3 baie armoedig gevind.

Kamer 3 (wat nie op foto verskyn nie) is regtig nie standaard nie - al die meubels is oud, wasbak se enamel is af en lyk onaptytlik. Niemand loop met gesigsmaskers nie. Die ander kamers lyk meer modern en OK. Die ontbyt was lekker en ons is vriendelik (dog nie professioneel) ontvang.

It was peaceful and wonderful.

Staff was very helpful.

Basic needs are catered for.

The environment dictates the abode. One needs to be open minded when travelling in such areas. Werner is an adequate host, and flexible to ones needs. Not the quietest environment during sleeping hours.

Very pleasant.

We arrived at Kai Kai and were warmly greeted. They are very pleasant and accommodating people who will not hesitate to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They regularly checked on us to find out if there was anything else we needed and as I had recently had my gall bladder removed and was on a restricted diet they did not hesitate to cater for my needs. Will definitely recommend them and will stay there again if we are in that area. A wonderful stay.

Reliving the seventies.

The overall service and friendliness of the management and staff are good. The sign indicating the parking entrance is at a locked gate, the entrance and exit being at the other street access unmarked - confusing. The decor and facilities are stuck in the seventies, but clean. However, no value for money at R900 per night for the double room.

Op kort kennisgewing 'n plan gemaak om ons te help. Restaurant se kos was ook lekker, verbaas om so goeie steak en burger in die platteland te kry. Goeie ontbyt.

Vriendelik en gemaklik.

Waarde vir geld met ontbyt ingesluit. Vriendelike ontvangs en gasvryheid.

A convenient stopover.

KaiKai was fine for a one night stop. It is convenient to have the restaurant on the premises. Werner was extremely helpful and attentive.

Gemaklike verblyf. Goed toegerus.

Vriendelike diens. Hulle het uit hulle pad gegaan om ons te kon help met slaapplek en etes.

Friendly, comfortable and good food. Love animals.

Very friendly, rooms comfortable, value for money and went out of their way to make my pup welcome. Very good half way point between Eastern Cape and Eastern Free State. Will definitely recommend.

It was terrible! Rooms rundown and shabby.

Not what we expected according website pictures. We booked a family room (sleeping 4), but where given two separate rooms on arrival. Units 6 and 7 were really awful! Smelly, unkempt and shabby. The amenities were shocking! Luckily for us it was a overnight only. I will not recommend this place to family or friends.

Great stopover.

Great place to break the journey from Johannesburg to the Eastern Cape. Perfectly adequate accommodation and very friendly hosts. We will use this B&B again!

Kan gerus eet by hulle restaurant. Kos uistekend.

Die eienaars is lieflike mense. Ons het heerlik geëet en saam met ander gaste gekuier. Was 'n wonderlike plattelandse ervaring.

Warm en gesellig.

Werkers vriendelik en behulpsaam. Ek en my twee sussies was 2 dae by KaiKai tuis om ons geboortedorp en grootouers se grafte te besoek. Kuiertjie baie geniet.

Teleustellend.

Ons kan beslis nie die plek aanbeveel nie. Die diens was onprofessioneel en die verblyf het nie aan verwagtinge voldoen nie. Dit was 'n teleurstellende ervaring.

Kaikai is 'n baie gerieflike oornagplek met baie vriendelike en behulpsame bestuur.
