Description

Kalahari Anib Lodge is situated on the eastern fringes of Namibia in the Kalahari Desert, 33.5 km from the city of Mariental. The lodge is easily accessible by sedan car, and is an ideal stopover for those travelling between Windhoek and the south, or continuing to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Guests can stretch their legs on the sign-posted trails around the lodge, keeping their eyes open for springbok, zebra and wildebeest, or join the afternoon drive to experience the red Kalahari sands.

Comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation is offered in 30 standard twin rooms, 5 family rooms, 15 twin rooms, a triple room, and a campsite. Some of the rooms flank a shady courtyard and some overlook the Kalahari savannah. Each room has a private verandah, with views of the open savannah or overlooking the central swimming pool. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and is equipped with air-conditioning, ideal for those hot summer days. Camping guests are also catered for, with 4 permanent tents which have been set up close the lodge. Each tent is equipped with 4 single beds and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Guests have access to a kitchen equipped with a fridge, a stove, a sink, cooking utensils, and cutlery. Guests also have access to a braai area.

The restaurant and chalets are arranged around a shaded courtyard, with a swimming pool. There are 2 swimming pools for guests to make use of. Morning and sunset game drives are available, where guests can enjoy the beautiful panoramic views from the dune. A trail map is available at reception for hiking trails.
