Kamberg Valley Hideaway offers three self-catering cottages and is located in a uniquely scenic and tranquil part of the Drakensberg Mountains, only 35kms from Nottingham Road in the Midlands Meander.

Mountain View Cottage adjoins the main house of Kamberg Valley Hideaway, but has a private entrance, whereas Forest Cottage is separate and totally private.

Mountain View Cottage can accommodate up to 2 adults in 1 bedroom. The bedroom is spacious and extremely comfortable and can be made up as two single beds or one king-size bed. Electric blankets are provided for those colder evenings, as are linen and towels. The bathroom is spacious and has a large shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped and features an oven, stove, fridge and microwave. There is an open plan living area with comfortable seating and contains a log fireplace. The living area has double doors which open up onto your private patio with braai area, where you can enjoy stunning views of the mountains.

Sunset Cottage can accommodate up to 4 adults in 2 bedrooms. Both bedrooms can either be made up with a king bed or two single beds in each room. The master bedroom also has a day bed, which is suitable for a child to sleep on, or is the perfect place to relax with a good book! All linen and towels are provided, as are electric blankets for those cooler winter nights.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge / freezer, gas hob, electric oven and microwave. All cutlery and crockery are also provided. The kitchen is open plan to the living and dining areas which also have sliding doors on to you own private patio / braai area with stunning mountain views. There is a free standing log fireplace and lounge set in the living area and a dining table and chairs in the dining area.

The outside patio / braai area contains an outdoor table and chairs plus a weber braai and gorgeous views of the mountains.

Forest Cottage is a 3-bedroom cottage and can accommodate up to 6 adults in 3 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a large bath and spacious shower and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom which contains a large shower. All linen and towels are provided and electric blankets take off the chill of those cooler winter nights.

The kitchen is fully equipped and features an oven, stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The living room is open plan and contains a beautiful freestanding log fireplace and has sliding doors opening on to a private veranda with covered braai area. The views across the dam to the mountain behind is spectacular.
