Description

Kelkies Rest Self-catering is a cosy flat for 3 people in Kathu, in the middle of the Kalahari desert.

The air-conditioned flat comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, and a lounge area. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and a toilet. A single sleeper couch is available, and for convenience, linen and bath towels are provided. There is another single bed in the walk-through room to the main bedroom.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a stove, a microwave, cutlery and crockery, pots and pans, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Complimentary milk, tea, and coffee will be provided for the first day.

The flat features a TV with an internet connection to access Netflix, and Wi-Fi access is available. The flat also has a separate study for business travellers.

Guests have use of the communal swimming pool, and small pets are welcome with prior arrangements. Pets are not allowed in the furniture, and smoking is not allowed in the flat.

Kathu offers various restaurants and shops, such as the Kathu Village Mall, and the town is located just south of the camel thorn forest, a Natural Heritage Site. Guests can also play a round of golf at the highly acclaimed Sishen Golf and Country Club.
