Klaarfontein Guest Farm offers comfortable self-catering accommodation on a farm, located a mere 5 km from the N3 near Swinburne, and in close proximity to Van Reenen's Pass in the vicinity of Harrismith.

Accommodation is offered in equipped self-catering units comprised of a 9-sleeper unit with 3 bedrooms and a 5-sleeper unit with 2 bedrooms. Both units boast an equipped kitchen and 2 comfortable lounges with cosy fireplaces, as well as underfloor heating to keep guests warm during the cold winter months. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave oven, electrical oven, and crockery and cutlery. Braai packs are available on request. All bed linen is provided, guests are required to bring their own towels. Ample Parking is available.

On Klaarfontein you and your family can explore the farm on the back of a horse, or on your own mountain bike you can also bring quad bike for all the 4X4 and quad bike enthusiasts, with a variety of routes available in the area. The Wilge River runs through the farm where guests can paddle on a canoe for kilometres, or if they wish, on the nearby Sterkfontein Dam, located 50 km away. There are plenty of fishing opportunities too. Other activities in the area include horse riding and mountain biking. Regular snowfalls occur on the farm during the winter months and it is advisable to make use of a 4X4 vehicle during these periods.
