Description

Klipdrift Akkommodasie is situated on a working farm in the heart of the Overberg, 28 km from the town of Caledon. It is located on the banks of the picture-perfect Klein River with beautiful views of the Akkedis mountains. The large, open farmyard is the ideal playground for children.

The accommodation comprises 6 units, each tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The first 2 units each have a double bed and bunk bed, ideal for a family. It has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. The other 4 units are each equipped with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. Each unit has cupboard space, as well as a kitchen with a 2-plate stove, a microwave, fridge, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. There are also braai facilities available for guests' use.

Die Plaashuis sleeps 12 guests in 4 bedrooms. Room 1, 2 and 4 each has a double bed and a single bed. Room 3 has 3 single beds. Die Plaashuis also has 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, microwave and a kettle. Die Plaashuis has built-in braai facilities and a braai drum outside for lovely summer evenings.

Guests are afforded secure parking on the premises.

The activities on the farm include peaceful walking or hiking for the more adventurous. Guests can also bring a fishing rod along to cast into the Klein River. It also makes an ideal base from which to do day trips to Hermanus with its whale watching opportunities, or for those who dare, cage diving with the Great White sharks in Gansbaai.
