Friendly host, rustic farmhouse accommodation.

Barry was very hospitable and accommodated our late arrival time. The shower light didn't work and there was no hot water but otherwise okay for an overnight stay. The description said it's on the Garden Route in the Tsitsikamma area but it's on a very different route about 200 kms off the Garden Route so double check the location before you book.

A soft place to fall, solitude in the country, just what I needed for my first night away.

A delightful old stone hotel with a fascinating history, it's just on the border of the Eastern and Western Cape. It's on the main road yet the traffic noise is hardly heard, the road was quiet while I was there. Beautiful views of farmland with an interesting garden and farm stall shop. Such friendly hosts who were both attentive in checking up on me.

Lekker plek om buite te speel vir kinders, maar niks binne, nie TV of games. kinders moes in eie kamer slaap so geen familiekamer.

Ons het nog nooit familie kamer gehad nie en gaan ook nie binnekort een hê nie. As mense vra vir slaapplek vir kleinkindertjies dan dra ons matrasse in. Hierdie kinders was bo ouderdom van 12. Ons adverteer dat hier geen TV is nie. Speletjies word nie voorsien nie. Besit hierdie plek 2 jaar waarvan ons 8 maande toe was weens Covid. Ons probeer hard om weer aan die gang te kom en werk sonder enige personeel. Indien gas ingaan op die site om booking te maak moet hy als lees en vandaar neem hy die besluit. Niemand dwing hom nie. Al die inligting is korrek en indien enige vrae kan persoon mos vrae vra. Dit wat ons adverteer en dit wat jy hier kry is die ware Jakob. Jammer vir die persoon wat dit verkeerd verstaan.
