Description

Klipkopje Guest Cottage is situated 8 km from White River and 40 km from the world-famous Kruger National Park. It is a mere 4-hour drive from O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg and Pretoria and only 20 minutes from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. It is also within easy reach of Uplands College, Penryn College and White River schools.

The exclusive, single-unit, self-catering cottage can accommodate a single group of 6 guests at a time. The rustic, double-storey, thatch cottage is set in a private garden with large trees and spectacular views of the lake, mountains and forests.

The cottage comprises 3 bedrooms including an upstairs, en-suite bedroom that features a double bed and is equipped with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. On the ground floor, the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has 2 single beds. The shared, ground-floor bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. A cot for infants is also provided.

The Cottage offers guests a peaceful stay and is located in a secure Aero-Eco Estate, boasting numerous walkways in a beautiful setting. It has a private entrance, covered patio, an open-plan living area featuring a lounge with fireplace and a dining area, and a fully fitted kitchen with gas stove, fridge-freezer, microwave oven and all crockery and cutlery.

Guests can enjoy the beautiful scenery from the covered patio that features a built-in braai. Outside facilities include a swimming pool, children's play area and a doll's house. Catch-and-release fishing available on site.

A full DStv bouquet, free Wi-Fi and hair dryers are available. The Cottage is serviced daily, excluding Sundays and Public Holidays. Free, secure parking is available on the premises. The Estate offers a grass runway for guests who wish to fly in privately.

Klipkopje Guest Cottage is close to excellent restaurants, shopping centres, spa's, art galleries and several golf courses. It provides an excellent base for day visits to the Kruger National Park, the Panorama Route, the Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window, the Lowveld waterfalls, Sudwala Caves, Bourke's Luck Potholes and the historic towns of Pilgrims Rest and Kaapsche Hoop. The new Graskop Gorge tourist attraction also offers guests a great experience to go down the face of the gorge in a glass elevator and explore the indigenous forest and views via meandering walkways.
