Koetsiershuis is a renovated and modern 1-bedroom apartment in a historical monument in the old part of Stellenbosch, and is great for business- or leisure travellers, or parents visiting their children.

Situated on the first floor, the open-plan apartment is reached by stairs, and is double-glazed to make it soundproof. The air-conditioned apartment comprises of a bedroom with a king-size bed, and has a bathroom with a shower and a bath. For convenience, bedding and towels are provided.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities. A dishwasher, a washing machine, and a tumble-dryer are also available.

Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table, or relax in the lounge which has a TV with full DStv. The living room opens onto a balcony that overlooks the town. Undercover parking is provided, and the apartment has an alarm system. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Koetsiershuis is 300 m from the Eikestad Mall and 700 m from Stellenbosch University. Stellenbosch offers a variety of restaurants and wine estates and cellars, and activities in the area include mountain biking, walking and hiking. Guests can also visit the Mooiberg Farmstall where guest can also pick strawberries, The Giraffe House, Eagle Encounters South Africa, Jonkershoek Nature Reserve, and more.
