Komati River Chalets is nestled on the confluence of the Komati and Crocodile Rivers in the Southern Kruger Park region of Mpumalanga’s wild frontier. Situated on 12 acres of Komati riverfront wilderness ensures that this is one of the region's premier country estates.

The 14 double or twin chalets, and 6 family cottages are all tastefully decorated, comfortable and a distinct home-away-from-home atmosphere pervades. The family cottages are perfect for families and each has 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a central lounge, and a kitchen, leading out onto a private patio. All of the en-suite rooms are air-conditioned providing welcome relief from the hot summer sun of the Southern Kruger region.

The lodge and the individual chalets are a mere 50 m from the water’s edge, where pods of hippos and an array of spectacular birdlife will entertain for hours on end.

The central facilities are a bar, Calabash Bistro a la carte restaurant and a pool area are surrounded by thickets of bushveld and leads out onto the acres of lush gardens creating a picturesque backdrop when dining or enjoying lazy days at the pool. To ensure the safety of all guests, there is electric fencing and 24-hour security on the property.

The quaint town of Komatipoort is a minute’s drive away providing easy access to alternative restaurants, shops and the Kambaku golf course with spectacular views of the Kruger National Park. Guided Kruger National Park safaris, as well as day excursions to Mozambique and Swaziland, are offered daily. Fishing safaris on Motorized boats are also available on request.
