Description
Kothuis Frangipani is a farmhouse-style, rustic, self-catering cottage situated in the heart of McGregor, a small town located in the Cape Winelands region of the Western Cape.
This open-plan cottage can accommodate 2 guests and comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a kitchen and a living area. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. An electric blanket is also available.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a 2-plate stove with a mini oven, a toaster, basic cutlery and crockery, as well as a kettle. Note that the coal stove does not work and is there for aesthetics. There is a dining table with extra seating and a lounge area furnished with couches. Free, uncapped, Wi-Fi is available. Guests have access to gas, and oil heaters when it's chilly.
Leading outside is a patio and a lovely garden which has a private natural pool where guests are welcome to cool off after their adventures. An outdoor braai stand is also available for guests to use.
Kothuis Frangipani is located within close proximity to a popular Saturday morning market with excellent local eateries, including art and pottery galleries. Robertson is approximately 20 km away, so guests have access to grocery stores, wine estates and more tourist-related activities in the surrounding area.
