Description

Kruger Cliffs Lodge offers affordable, yet luxurious self-catering accommodation with stunning mountain views. This lovely self-catering lodge is ideally located 45 km from Kruger National Park’s Orpen Gate, accessed by a smooth tar road, and 34 km from the town of Hoedspruit.

Comfortable and modern accommodation is offered in 4 tastefully decorated cottages in which the bedroom has air-conditioning and is fitted with a king-size bed which can be converted into 2 single beds under a large mosquito net. Each room comprises an en-suite bathroom fitted with a large walk-in shower, toilet and basin, and an outdoor shower with a mountain view. Towels and shower gel are provided. High speed satellite internet/Wi-Fi is available in each cottage.

Each unit has a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, a ceramic hob (no oven), a kettle, a toaster, a large fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. Other kitchen amenities include salt, pepper, 10L of drinking water, 1/2L milk, dishwasher liquid, dishwasher tablets, a dishcloth and a tea towel. Each cottage also has an indoor dining table for guests to enjoy their meal inside during the rare chillier days.

The cottages offer privacy, both in the cottage and on the outside deck. Each room has large glass sliding doors that allow a superb view of the mountains as the cottages are built along a drainage line.

All 4 cottages feature a refreshing private plunge pool, with a design that is unique to the area. Guests can enjoy a braai with the Megamaster kettle braai on their private deck with a seating area.

Breakfast and/or braai packs can be delivered to your cottage at an extra cost, but need to be ordered at least 3 days prior to your arrival. Activities can be pre-booked too, but many attractions in the neighbourhood are easily accessible for self-drivers.

There is a bistro in Kampersrus town about 5-10 min. drive from the lodge and another restaurant 15-20 min. drive away. There are plenty of dining options in Hoedspruit as well. The Blyde Dam is located 24.9 km away, and the lodge is located 48 km from the Strydom tunnel, the start of the Panorama Route.
