House Rules
Please note, the owner lives on the premises.
There is a gravel road leading to Kruger Wielewaal Restcamp. Guests are required to enquire about the road's condition before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
No burning of foreign material is permitted at any time, except for braai purposes in a safe designated place, and all fires must be extinguished as soon as you have finished grilling. No large fires are allowed.
No noise/music is allowed at any time this includes noise arising from people visiting,
loud talking or loud music. The use of noisy motorcycles or any noisy devices is prohibited. There is a fine payable issued by Law Enforcement.
No pets are allowed.
Smoking is not allowed in the rooms, pool or bar areas. There are designated areas for smoking.
Feeding or touching animals is strictly prohibited. Wielewaal Bush Lodge will not be held liable for injuries caused by such an animal. Keep your distance, all the animals in Marloth Park are wild. The baboons are extremely dangerous.
The use of spotlights on the premises of the Lodge and while driving around within Marloth Park or Lionspruit is prohibited.
No drinking and driving allowed. Speed limits in Marloth Park must be observed at all times (50km on tarred roads and 30km on dirt roads). Driving with toddlers on the driver's lap is not allowed. Persons may not sit on the rear flap of vehicles. No loose chairs in the back of vans are allowed.
No littering allowed.
Water should be used sparingly.
Do not leave an air conditioner on when you are not present in the room, and also ensure that all windows and doors are closed when air conditioners are switched on. Do not set the air-conditioner lower than 20ºC.
Between sunset and sunrise, no walking is allowed. Limited driving is allowed. it allows time and space for our animals to move around freely in that time.
Wielewaal Bush Lodge stocks the appropriate and proven insect repellent which works very well against mosquitoes.
