Description
Kubu Metsi Lodge is a beautiful self-catering lodge situated in the Black Rhino Big 5 Game Reserve. Guests can enjoy exclusive use of the entire lodge with 4 elegant suites, ideal for a family or group looking to experience the Big 5 in a private and exclusive setting. The game reserve is located 220 km from Johannesburg.
The thatched lodge comprises 4 air-conditioned bedrooms with a king-size bed and a child-only sleeper couch in each. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, bath, toilet, and basin, as well as an outdoor shower. The main area includes an open-plan kitchen, lounge, and large dining area. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, an oven, and stove, and a microwave, as well as a Nespresso machine, and an ice machine. There is a TV with selected DStv channels in the lounge, and the lodge is equipped with free Wi-Fi throughout. The lodge features a lovely braai area, with a huge dining area and seating around the boma, a heated Martine Pool, a separate leisure reading, TV room, a viewing deck with a waterhole, a brand new fully equipped gym, and a separate office for working privately will be available shortly.
Black Rhino Game Reserve forms part of the Pilanesberg National Park. Activities in the area include guided bush walks, golf, and hot-air balloon flights, and Sun City is located 34 km from the lodge.
