Kwafubesi Tented Safari Camp offers tented camps discreetly tucked away in the tree line on the edge of the magnificent Mvubu plain in the 12 000-hectare Mabula Private Game Reserve in Waterberg. The Waterberg Mountains, outside Bela Bela, are renowned for being the back-drop to some of South Africa’s most renowned game lodges, including Mabula Game Reserve.

The 5 luxurious en-suite tents have been spaciously designed with soft furnishings in strong hues of rich African colour and are raised on platforms thus maximizing privacy at all times. Each tent enjoys a private deck overlooking an open plain allowing for game sightings up close and personal, especially with the camp being positioned in territory that is renowned to be home to Rhino.

Romantic oil lamps and home-prepared meals served in the thatched Lapa add to this unique Out-of-Africa experience. Children 8 years and older are welcome at Kwafubesi Tented Camp and will be accommodated in their own tents.

Facilities, services and activities at the lodge and nearby include boma dinners, high-tea, romantic dinners on your private deck on request, a splash pool, cuisine prepared on the open fires, eco-adventures on quad bikes. Game activities in the morning and afternoon safaris in an open vehicle with an experienced field guide as well as horse safaris guided bush walks available on request, must be pre-booked.
