Kwela Cottage

The unit was sufficient for our stay but was clearly more suitable for a fishing trip.

There aren't any signposts or directions to guide one to the cottage. It was not made clear that it is located within another complex. The entry to the complex is not signposted, we were only given a pin and instructions when we were stuck towing a trailer on the road to a complex that is closed off with a chain. The light in the toilet off the lounge was not working. The roof was leaking and the distribution board is in that room. One of the plates on the stove kept tripping the lights.

Dis net die braaigeriewe wat opknap nodig het. Weber is daar, maar stukkend, en rooster met gate. Het dit op vorige kommentaar gelees, maar geen verbetering.

I was surprised by the location, neatness and safety of the premises. The service was excellent and a high five for the helper, Jenelle.

Hole in the Wall is a must see.

It was great except dusty as it was not cleaned.

The toilet paper and DStv are not provided by the owner. It was a real self catering experience. The resort is wonderful but does not seem to integrate its hosts who sell a variety of beadwork as well as fresh out of the ocean oysters just outside its gates. There are too many stray dogs. There are no ATMs for at least a 30 minute drive. The resort should also get into a payment arrangement with the guides who loiter beyond the gates begging for scraps. They should create a bouquet of services for everything on offer. This also gives comfort to a customer who has to go through a forest with a stranger to get to the whole in the wall.

Die kothuis is baie gerieflik en goed geleë.

Die kothuis was als wat ons verwag het om te wees. Lekker naby aan strand en swembad. Baie gerieflik. Nie luuks nie, maar heeltemal voldoende vir ons behoeftes. Die kompleks self kan net raserig raak oor 'n naweek.

Uiters teleurstellend.

Eenheid was nog nie skoongemaak van vorige gaste nie. Kombuis was vol skottelgoed, yskas vol kos, stoep vol stompies en stof, beddens onopgemaak. Niemand het met ons deur die dag gepraat oor hoe laat ons sal opdaag nie en toe ons ongeveer 18:00 na 12 ure op die pad daar opdaag moes ons minstens 'n uur wag vir 'n sleutel. Die eenheid het privaat eienaar, Nicky en sy bly in Natal en nie naby of op perseel nie. 'n Dame het na lang gewag kom oopmaak en gese die perseel is nie skoon nie, want sy was by 'n begrafnis. Ek het Nicky gekontak en sy het gesê hulle lees nie altyd haar boodskappe nie en sy het boodskap gestuur om te sê die perseel moet skoongemaak word. Dit is Nicky se werk om na so boodskap met haar personeel op te volg of die boodskap ontvang is en of die perseel skoon sal wees. Dit was nie gedoen nie. Ons het in donker en stormreën gestaan en moes Nicky bel en se die perseel is vuil. Sy het ons na 'n ander perseel laat skuif en my boodskap gestuur om te vra of ons ok was. Dit was laat, ons was sopnat, honger en doodmoeg. Die ander perseel was ook vuil. Tandepaste in wasbak, vuil toilet, stoep was 'n gemors van eierdoppe ens. Ons het self beddens opgemaak met linne uit die kas uit. Uiters pateties en vir die geld was dit geen waarde nie, gordyne hang krom en sonder knippies. As ons nou helfte van die geld betaal het, sou ek dit nog kon verstaan, maar vir dubbel dit is dit belaglik. Ons het nou baie gereis en vir minder geld in pragtige ander akkommodasie gebly. Ou meubels is nog aanvaarbaar, maar vuil! Nee wat!
