Salig, ontspanne.

Heerlike, netjiese verblyf. Daar was heerlike warm beddegoed en oorgenoeg hout vir die kaggel en braai. Die rustigheid van plaas, maar loopafstand van die hoofstraat is 'n bonus. Ons kom vir seker weer ons batterye hier herlaai!

Heerlik rustig en ontspannend!

Ons wou met ons oorslaap op pad na Swellendam net eers 'n dag rus en Laasteskof was perfek! Mona en haar man was so vriendelik en tegemoetkomend! Ons kon van haar Karoo kombuis gebruik maak om self kos te maak en die patio by braai was absoluut die plek waar ons batterye kon laai. Ons het die plaas gevoel met skape en hoenders so geniet en was ook uitstekend geleë om in die mooi dorpie rond te stap. Ek het my behoorlik verlustig in haar kookboeke en interessante leesstof wat ons genooi het om te lees. Beddegoed was lieflik en huis baie skoon. Ons sal baie graag weer daar wil oorslaap. 'n Huis weg van huis! Baie dankie Mona!

Wonderfully peaceful and relaxing!

We just wanted to rest for a day with our overnight stay on the way to Swellendam and Laasteskof was perfect! Mona and her husband were so friendly and accommodating! We were able to use her Karoo kitchen to cook ourselves and the patio at the braai was absolutely the place where we could charge our batteries. We enjoyed the farm feel with sheep and chickens so much and were also in an excellent location for walking around the pretty village. I thoroughly enjoyed her cookbooks and interesting reading material that she invited us to read. Bedding was lovely and house very clean. We would love to stay there again. A home away from home!
