Description

The Lantern Self-catering Cottages offers accommodation in 2 comfortable self-catering cottages and a studio unit, located in a tranquil tree- and bird-filled garden in Swellendam. The property is approximately 800 m from the town centre and are surrounded by restaurants, museums, golf, hiking and biking trails, Bontebok and Marloth Nature Reserves, plus the beautiful sandy beaches of De Hoop and Witsand.

The 2 cottages, Karoo Cottage and Thatched Cottage, each offer a large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Fast-fibre Wi-Fi is available in the Thached cottage and Annex.
Weaker connection is by the swimming pool area.

The Annex is a private open-plan studio unit, attached to the main house that is not equipped for self-catering but does contain tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Guests are welcome to relax in the garden and make use of the sparking swimming pool and the braai facilities.
Our new feature is Kolkol Hot Tub in our garden. Hot tub is for guests of Thatched cottage.
We are happy to prepare the hot tub if we are on the property. In case we are away, you will have a clear instructions on how to prepare it yourself.
A large trampoline with a safety net is available during whole year for your children to enjoy.
