The Lüderitz Nest Hotel is located directly on the rocks and the sea. The hotel enjoys primary seafront positioning with a private tidal beach and walk-on jetty, unique in Namibia. Lüderitz Nest Hotel allows you to truly immerse yourself in the marine environment surrounding the hotel and it is not uncommon to see the odd seal or dolphin swimming by. Guests have a choice of Comfort Double, Twin and Family Rooms, Deluxe Twin and Double Rooms, and Luxury Suites. All rooms and luxury suites contain private en-suite, remote air-conditioning and heater, mini-fridge, laptop safe, large HDTV with satellite channels, hairdryer, and a tea and coffee tray. Two wheelchair-friendly rooms are available with a roll-in shower or bath with grab rails.
Complementary optic fibre Wi-Fi is available throughout. A same day laundry service is available at a fee.
The locally acclaimed on-site Penguin Restaurant serves the freshest Lüderitz oyster, west coast rock lobster and a varied menu. The extensive drinks menu includes fine South African wines, pure Namibian beers, whiskies, gins, cognac and French champagne. The Crayfish Bar and Lounge on the upper level is the best venue in town to sit back, relax and enjoy the fantastic views on offer whilst sipping on your favourite drink.
The hotel offers a sparkling swimming pool surrounded by verdant gardens (for resident guests only), with sun-loungers and parasols. A sauna room is also available with direct sea views. The reception lounge with fireplace offers freshly ground coffee and an internet café. There is also a small curio shop. An outside children’s adventure playground will keep the young ones busy. Secure on-site parking is available and a vehicle wash can be arranged on request.
