Very neat, spotless. Very good bed. Had a good night's sleep. No disturbances.

Asked for breakfast and dinner. Both wonderful meals and they went to a lot of trouble to accommodate my specific diet. This is an ideal overnight place!

Ons het gevra vir aandete en ontbyt. Beide wonderlike maaltye en daar is moeite gedoen om aan my spesifieke dieet te voldoen. Hierdie is 'n ideale oornagslaapplek!

Most pleasant stay in a perfect setting.

The host was super helpful and friendly. The cottage was well furnished and fitted. We had a most enjoyable stay and would not hesitate in recommending Ledges Guest Retreat to everyone.

Ons het die farmhouse en etes besonders geniet. Waardeer gasvryheid en vriendelike diens asook pragtige uitsig.

Ons sal graag weer teruggaan vir lekker rus, pragtige uitsig en stilte. Die etes was 'n bonus vir ons wat wou rus. Smaakvol en ons het eintlik skuldig gevoel oor hul spesiale moeite vir net ons 2 vir aandetes asook die ruim porsies! Dit is absoluut merkwaardig wat die nuwe eienaars (jong egpaar) in ongeveer 4 jaar daar opgebou het en die opofferings wat daarmee saamgaan vir hulle as 'n jong gesin. Veral inaggenome uiters uitdagende ekonomiese tye (baie klein besighede maak toe in hierdie tye en hulle het inteendeel iets merkwaardigs opgebou!) Boonop ook te midde van die Covid-pandemie wat die toerismebedryf so erg geaffekteer het! Ons was verstom en vol lof vir wat daar bereik is tot dusver gesien in die lig van hierdie onderneming te midde van uitdagende hedendaagse tye. Ons was ook dankbaar vir die goeie gehaltebed (asook beddegoed) en badkamergeriewe. Ons het die sonnigheid van die huis geniet, asook die ruimte en lekker, skoon atmosfeer. Oulike kombuis en groot eetkamertafel met lieflike uitsig na die berge.

Beslis 'n plek om weer te besoek.

Ledges Retreat is beslis een van daai plekke wat mens weer en weer sal besoek. Die verblyf is baie mooi en is goeie waarde vir geld. Mens word vriendelik ontvang en die diens is ook baie goed. Jy kan lekker op die stoep sit en luister vir die stroompie wat nie ver van die huisies af is nie, of 'n draai stap in die mooi omgewing. Royal Natal is ook lekker naby.

A fantastic friends getaway.

Ledges is situated in such a fantastic spot in the berg - very close to the national park for a couple of the day hikes. The accommodation is spacious and incredibly well-equipped! The hosts and staff are also lovely and accommodating.

I highly recommend a stay at Ledges Retreat. Home from home comfort with spectacular scenery to enjoy.

This is amazing value for money, and on an easy route from Jhb / Pretoria via Harrismith past the beautiful Sterkfontein dam. Close to the Royal National Park for wonderful walks, and there are places where you can horse ride and also a nearby spa. Owner Jessica and her staff are friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was most generous in a lovely log cabin with great views. We stayed in the Farmhouse which was spacious and well equipped.

Rustigheid teen 'n goeie prys.

Gekom om te rus en goed gerus. Plek is skoon en ruim en selfs met al die Covid-maatreëls het ons nie een oomblik ingeperk gevoel nie.

Baie vriendelik en hulpvaardige mense. Kos was baie smaaklik en voldoende. Kamerdiens was uitstekend!

Die ligging van Ledges Retreat is ideaal ook vir besoeke aan die natuurbewaringsgebied en staproetes na Mount Exsource. Ligging van gastehuis is goed en toeganklik vir enige motor.

Verblyf was heerlik.

Die uitsig is pragtig van die stoep. Die gemaklike banke in sitkamer heerlik na lang reis. Die groot badkamers 'n bonus.
