Description

Limpokwena Nature Reserve is situated in an oasis of fever trees, sausage trees, and the ever-present mopane trees. Set on the banks of the Mogalakwena and Limpopo rivers, Limpokwena is home to over 350 recorded bird species, which would keep any keen birder occupied for hours by simply taking a stroll through the campgrounds.

Accommodation comprises 2 units and 1 tented camp. The chalets and cottage feature air-conditioning, a private entrance, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The tented camp offers shared ablution facilities, and guests have access to kitchen and braai facilities.

The lodge is best suited for family groups looking to get away for a while and regroup or couples wanting to spend some quality time together in a tranquil and relaxing environment. Limpokwena is a small, unassuming lodge that prides itself on simplicity and appreciating the wilderness from a new perspective.
