Description
Little Oak Cottage offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a delightful 1-bedroom; a private cottage situated in the picturesque village of Greyton, just 2 hours from Cape Town. Guests can enjoy peace and tranquillity in a romantic country setting.
Although deceptively small from the outside, the quaint, tastefully decorated cottage is spacious and can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child, and comprises an en-suite bedroom with a double sleeper couch for additional guests, an open-plan lounge, a kitchen, and a dining area. The living area is situated on the ground floor and includes a lounge area with a romantic fireplace, seating, a TV with selected DStv channels, a dining room table, and chairs. The fully equipped kitchen features a microwave, a gas stove, a kettle, and a toaster, as well as a complimentary breakfast tray including tea, coffee, milk, rusks, juice, yoghurt, eggs, baked goods, and cereal.
The top floor comprises an open-plan bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. The queen-size bed is fitted with white linen, throws, and cushions. The room is equipped with additional seating, a chest of drawers, a hairdryer, hangers, and a ceiling fan. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath and a shower. Towels and shower gel is also provided.
Guests can enjoy alfresco dining next to the swimming pool, have a braai or simply relax. Off-street parking is provided in a covered car park.
There are also a variety of eateries, shops, and galleries within close proximity to the cottage. The town of Greyton offers mountain biking, hiking and running trails, a Saturday market, as well as events such as Greyton Classics, Greyton Creative Weekends and the Greyton Rose Festival.
