Fun, relaxed and easy-going getaway!

Fantastic easy-going stay right by all the hotspots, nice and spacious and with a private jetty to fish from. Very fun, never ran out of things to do. A few points to note: 1. No wifi. 2. Salt river water is plumbed in the house, i.e. salt water for showering and brushing teeth. 3. Cleaning staff stays on-site and part of the property is Living The Breede HQ or Office, which is convenient for collecting bait or firewood. 4. Pet-friendly, which is a big bonus. There were even dog bowls and beds in the house. 5. The indoor fireplace only works when there's power (electric extractor fan), otherwise not to be used in loadshedding as the entire house fills up with smoke. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay. The rate was good, so we have no complaints.

Great location and house was comfortable.

Great family holiday for kids and teenagers, only issue we had was the house was extremely hot and there was only one fan upstairs that faced the rafter so you didn't really get any air. Would recommend they install an aircon or at least have fans in all the rooms that you can move around. There was no WiFi and kids needed to do homework. Besides the heat was a great holiday and we would return if fans and aircon are installed.

Very tranquil setting. House was very well suited to accommodate our 4 small family groups.

A few issues pertaining to the house being old but on the whole it was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Pity the fish weren't biting.
