Lupela Lodge is situated in a peaceful and scenic valley in the Witteberg Mountains on the farm The Camp is 17.5 km from Lady Grey and 56 km from Barkly East.
Accommodation comprises 3 units and can accommodate 16 guests. Guests have access to braai facilities, as well as a daily turndown service on request, linen and towels are included.
Guests are required to provide their own swimming towels.
The area is mountainous and with a beautiful diversity of plants and wildlife. The area has 8 mountain passes, a vulture breeding colony. Featuring the highest dirt road in South Africa, the 8 mountain passes of the North Eastern Cape provide travellers with the opportunity to test their grit, 4x4’s and nerves. The 8 mountain passes include; 1. Naude’s Nek, Carlisleshoek Pass, Volunteershoek Pass, Lundeansnek Pass, Joubers Pass, Barkly Pass and Otto du Plessis Pass.
