The Magari Safari Villa is a beautiful, boutique safari villa in the private Jembisa Game Reserve in the heart of the Waterberg wilderness. Magari is in a spectacular position with breathtaking views above a sweeping bend of the Palala River over savanna and woodland to a backdrop of hills.
This exquisite, small, personal and private lodge is available for exclusive use, private bookings or non-exclusive use, sharing bookings and is perfect for small groups, families, celebrations and very romantic safari weddings. Guests experience a safari for the soul, enjoying the relaxation, health and well-being benefits of this remarkable, unique bush villa. It truly is magical Magari.
The Magari Safari Villa sleeps just 10 to 12 guests in 6 rooms. Each room contains a king-size bed or 2 single beds made up with percale linen, and an en-suite bathroom with bathrobes and toiletries. 2 of the rooms have outdoor showers from which the incredible view can be admired. 3 of the rooms have outdoor decks with views of the valley and hills. Wi-Fi is available in all the rooms.
The main lodge area contains a spacious kitchen, dining and lounge area. There is also a covered patio with outdoor dining furniture for dining alfresco while enjoying the views. All meals are freshly prepared by the chef. The lodge also has a boma in which to enjoy sitting around a campfire in the evening, a sunbathing terrace and a swimming pool with spectacular views.
The spectacular position and views from Magari lend itself perfectly as a romantic safari wedding venue. Each wedding is crafted individually in consultation with the bridal couple. The wedding ceremony and celebration can be conducted anywhere around the lodge and on the reserve.
There are a wide range of activities to suit all ages and interests, including day and night game drives, guided bush walks, wildlife camera trap setting, bird watching, camp outs under the stars, teen tracker programmes, swimming, fly-fishing, visits to Bushman painting and Iron Age sites on the reserve and massage treatments for those looking for more relaxation. Many guests enjoy the opportunity to keep fit here, including the freedom to go running on the reserve, mountain biking and hiking.
