Ons is vriendelik verwelkom met ons aankoms deur Simon (Ranger) en die dames wat ons met die bagasie gehelp het. The game drive with Ranger was the highlight of our stay at Mahikeng. The children were delighted to see numerous little goats and a baby giraffe. The view from the vantage point was breathtaking. Our time at Mahikeng Lodge was fantastic, peaceful and good for the soul and body. It exceeded all our expectations.

Our communication with their spokesperson, Jess, was most unpleasant! The service was good and the view is beautiful but the designing of the Lodge is very unpractical!

Our family's bonding time was wonderful like always, but we will not visit the Lodge again. The combination of lots of stairs (that is much to high as well as dangerous slippery), flies and mosquitoes was just too much. But the service of the cleaning ladies and Simon was very good! If I may make an suggestion, I will take away the very expensive, hand painted, unusable bowls and supply ordinary usable things like a roaster (with lid) for barbecues and more dishes with lids that you can use in a oven! Whoever the owner of this place is: please maintain your lodge, it's overpriced for the condition it is in - whole corners at door frames broken etc! The boma may work for the game but not for people to use - with heat up to 36 degrees without a roof in sight.
