Map’s View Guesthouse offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a 2-bedroom house situated in the south of Johannesburg in the suburb of Glenvista. The guest house is nestled high above the hills, offering panoramic views of the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve.
It is cottage-style accommodation and sleeps 4 adults in 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms each have an en-suite and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom has an en-suite with a shower and toilet and contains a queen-size bed with cotton linen. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds and has no en-suite. Each bedroom has ample cupboard space and a luggage stand. There is a separate bathroom with a toilet, bath and shower, and is fitted with a ceiling heat lamp for cool nights. There is a sleeper couch in the spacious lounge, as well as additional comfortable couches where guests can sit and watch selected DStv channels, relax with a book, or simply enjoy the ambience.
The fully equipped kitchen has a dining room table and chairs. The house features braai facilities and a cosy patio, leading to lovely cascading gardens where guests can enjoy nature and the sounds and sights of several bird species. The unit also features a Jacuzzi and a swimming pool, a jungle gym for children, and Wi-Fi.
There is also a double cabin on the property. This means that there could be other guests on the property. Note that the jacuzzi and braai facilities are not shared with other guests, but are for exclusive use by the four-sleeper cottage guests.
