The Midlands Meander starts on our doorstep with the Howick Falls, Karkloof Falls, Umngeni Valley and Midmar Dam, followed by an exciting route of arts and crafts, museums, spas, restaurants and coffee shops. The outdoor enthusiast is spoilt for choice with a vast assortment of sports on offer - golf, bowls, hiking and biking trails into the indigenous forests, or the adrenalin-charged Karkloof Canopy tour. For a more gentle experience, go on a scenic horse riding route or catch a trout for a scrumptious evening meal.
The Natal Coast or majestic Drakensburg mountains and Sani Pass are both a little over an hour’s drive away and major private schools (Hilton College, Michaelhouse, and St. Anne’s Diocesan School) are within half an hour’s drive.
