Meer Huisje is a light and spacious self-catering house for 6 people in Lake Brenton, and is just 300 m from the Knysna lagoon and Lake Brenton Jetty, and 4 km from the famous Brenton-On-Sea beach. It is also right next to the historic settlement of Belvidere.
The house is located in a security complex, with secure parking for botes, kayaks and trailers. The house is filled with natural light and comprises 2 bedrooms and a loft room, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a dining area. The open-plan kitchen leads to the garden with a braai area and a firepit.
The main bedroom has a workspace and is furnished with a king-size bed. The room has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, a shower, and a toilet, and the room opens onto a stoep with a view of the garden.
The second bedroom contains 2 single beds, and also opens onto a stoep. The room makes use of a separate bathroom fitted with a shower. Ideal for children, the loft is reached by a steep staircase, and is furnished with 2 single beds.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with post and pans, cutlery and crockery, a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. A dishwasher, a washing machine, and a tumble-dryer are also available for guests to use.
Guests can enjoy their meals at the 6-seater dining table or relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV and a cosy fireplace.
Meer Huisje is 4 km from Brenton Beach, and the Lake Brenton and Brenton-on-Sea area offer various activities such as fishing, kayaking, swimming, cycling, and guests will spot small game and a variety of bird species.
