Melkboomsdrift Lodge is situated in the heart of the Olifants River valley, between Vredendal and Lutzville. This working wine farm with a restored farmhouse is an ideal stop-over between Cape Town and Namibia along the N7, with the West Coast 20 minutes away for whale spotting.
The historic building, which houses beautifully restored suites, achieved monument status in 1992 when the owner lovingly began the laborious task of restoring the then dilapidated building. The accommodation comprises 13 en-suite garden suites of which 4 offer self-catering facilities. The units can accommodate from 1 to 5 people.
