Description

Mermaid Castle is a whitewashed home located in the West Coast Town of Jacobsbaai. The town, with its rocky coastline with sandy bays tucked in between, is located approximately 140 km from Cape Town up the scenic R27 highway.

The home can accommodate ten people within four bedrooms. The main bedroom is equipped with a queen-size bed with a shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom is equipped with a double bed and the third bedroom has two single beds. Both these bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower and or bath, basin, and toilet. The upper loft bedroom that is separate from the main house has its own balcony and en suite bathroom with a shower. The loft bedroom is furnished with four singles. The house has a U-shape form, with an enclosed braai area with a built-in braai and outdoor furniture, where guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of the bay.

The kitchen is well-equipped and contains a breakfast nook, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, an oven with a gas stove, crockery, and cutlery as well as a scullery with a washing machine, dishwasher, and tumble dryer.

The entertainment area is equipped with comfortable couches, a flat-screen TV, and a pool table. The open-plan living area is furnished with comfortable seating and a dining area with a 10-seater dining room table.

There is a charming undercover veranda with outdoor seating and views over the beautiful garden and there is off-street parking for three vehicles in front of the house.

Mermaid Castle is located 80 m from the shoreline and is within proximity of the Weskus Mall.
