Overall a comfortable stay.

Overall, Misty Ridge provided a comfortable stay with all the essential amenities in good order. The fan and WiFi worked well, and we had no issues with Netflix and YouTube. Hot water was always available, and the shower was spacious. We loved the covered patio, especially when it rained. The property felt secure. However, given the size and location, we felt it was a tad pricey. Despite being advertised as secluded, it's attached to another cottage, and both patios are in close proximity. We could hear the sound of water draining from the attached cottage. Additionally, there was a lot of activity in front of the cottage, and its layout made privacy somewhat challenging, which could be a concern for those seeking a secluded/romantic getaway. Despite these considerations, the accommodation is recommended for individuals seeking a secure, short-term stay, rather than a private getaway.

Misty Ridge is the ideal guesthouse. We were warmly welcomed. Had a lovely stay! We will be back!

We stayed over in two self-catering cottages, very spacious, clean and well-equipped! Perfect location, near everything you need. The host was amazing, thank you.

A peaceful getaway.

Cottage A at Misty Ridge was very spacious, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. We loved it! There was a lovely cross breeze, and an aircon would greatly enhance the stay.

Well spent at Misty Ridge the place is so clean, the reception was out of the world. Definitely coming back.

The staff is so friendly, the room big and the place is so safe, never had any disruptions during out 3-night stay.

Baie gerieflik en eienaars baie vriendelik en behulpsaam.

Ons het op die nippertjie plek bespreek. Michele get my dadelik teruggebel en bevestig. Rob het ons warm ontvang en uit sy pad gegaan om 'n kamer met 'n bed te gee vir ons kleinding. Ons het nog 'n extra kamer gekort en hulle het ons dadelik gehelp. Baie goeie diens, baie lekker plek.

If only you had of informed me that you were having a problem with the air con I could have sorted it out. The air con has a heating mode and a cooling mode that can be set at a temperature of your choice. If it is set on heating mode there is a delay of about 10 to 15 minutes before it kicks in, a safety setting, set by the manufacturers. If it is set on the cooling mode it comes on instantly.
