Mistyridge Guesthouse is a self-catering farm house on a working potato seed farm just outside of Lydenburg, Mpumalanga. The house is located on top of the Longtom Pass, with beautiful panoramic views. The farm is on the mist belt, which means it is misty occasionally, which gives a lovely atmosphere. It is also 5-degrees cooler on the mountain than in the town of Lydenburg which is approximately 20 km from the farm.
The guest house has 3 lovely bedrooms, each fitted with a double bed. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom as well as an additional single bed. The 2 other bedrooms share the second bathroom with a bath and a shower, as well as a separate toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a stove an oven and also features a dishwasher. The lounge has comfortable seating as well as a TV with DStv. There are indoor braai facilities as well as an 8-seater dining room table.
The Hops Hollow Beer Brewery is approximately 10 km from the farm, or guests can enjoy a breakfast at Misty Mountain Hotel. Close by towns include Sabie, Graskop and Pelgrimsrus. Dullstroom is also close by and is a lovely small town to make a day trip to.
