Description

Fouriesburg is situated in the Brandwater Basin, south of Bethlehem, in the Golden Gate area, and offers you the fantastic scenery of the Red Mountains, the White Mountains, the Maluti Mountains, the splendid Golden Gate National Park and many historic sites from the Anglo-Boer War. It is ideal for out-door activities, such as hiking, horse riding, fishing, 4x4, quad biking and abseiling, but for those who just want to relax it is also the place to be.

We have plenty of sweet water from the borehole and fountain at our farm !! No water shortages at Mont Plaisir.

All are units are fully equipped for self catering except for the room in the Old main House, which is room only with tea/coffee and braai facility . You only have to bring your own food and drinks. The units have either single, queen-size or king-size beds. All beds are extra lengths.

Establishment facilities include: own braai facilities. There are nice hiking trails and we offer lead rides for the little ones on the farm.

Kindly do not use personal electrical appliances in the units, except for a cellphone charger, hair dreyer, computer, router.

Nearby attractions include: Golden Gate National Park for beautiful hiking trails. Clarens with art galleries, restaurants and pubs. Fishing possibilities in the area. The wild and unspoiled Lesotho Maluti Mountains nearby. Snow skiing nearby in winter or just snow fun for the family.
