Description

The Morokologa Nature Reserve offers self-catering accommodation on a stunning, pristine 550-hectare nature reserve, wedged into, but fenced out of the much bigger Selati Nature Reserve around it. Morokologa aims to offer guests a unique and truly immersive nature experience without the usual risks and restrictions that often underlies most Big 5 related safari outings in a similar environment.

Accommodation is offered in standard and family thatched safari huts at the off-the-grid Russet Willow Ridge Hut Camp, which is currently the only public camp on the beautiful reserve. Each hut has its own private bathroom, kitchen facilities, and a boma with a fire pit and braai facilities.

The camp has a communal self-service laundry facility, a central entertainment area with pool tables, and a piano.

Sip a sundowner on the view tower and relax while the kids have fun in the playroom. Morokologa offers a variety of fun, nature-related activities, such as self-guided walks, guided bush walks, mountain biking, guided game drives, interactive bushcraft sessions, sleep-outs under the stars, and more.
