Description
Naboomfontein Guest House is located on a family farm, approximately 23,5 km from Mookgophong, previously known as Naboomspruit. It is conveniently located on the R101 between Naboomspruit/Mookgophong to Potgietersrus/Mokopane and a 2.5-hour drive from Johannesburg.
Accommodation comprises a variety of free-standing units that are fully equipped for self-catering. We are able to accommodate couples, small or large groups of people up to 180 people, making it perfect for school groups.
There are 4 units that can accommodate up to 4 guests. These units each have 2 twin rooms and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin as well as an open-plan kitchen and living room. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, gas stove, microwave and kitchenware.
Our group accommodation is perfect for large groups as we can accommodate between 70 and a 100 people. There are 7 rooms, each with 5 bunker beds that can accommodate up to 10 people per room, and an additional 15 bunker beds in an open area. There are separate bathrooms for men and women. The men's bathroom has 1 bath, 4 showers, 2 toilets, and basins while the women's bathroom has 1 bath, 4 showers, 2 toilets, and basins. We also offer additional ablution blocks which have 8 showers, 8 toilets, and 4 basins. Other amenities include a pool table, table tennis table and gym area.
We have 2 separate units called Berghuise that can accommodate a minimum of 20 people per unit. It is built for the more adventurous person that likes the mountains and the bush. The units also share a bush boma where you can make use of the braai facility. It offers a real bushveld experience with the mountain right next to you.
During the raining season, we have a little stream that flows between the two mountains to the end of the farm.
