Price Includes

- Rates displayed are on a full board basis and include accommodation, breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3-course dinner.
House Rules
- You do not need 4x4 vehicle to access the camp. A normal sedan-type vehicle that can travel on gravel roads will be suitable.
Visitors are, however, encouraged to travel with a 4x4 as this will enhance the experience - although as indicated this is not necessary.
- Visits to Namaqua are self-drive
- Due to the remoteness of the Beach Camp, the camp lights are generator-powered and traditional paraffin lanterns illuminate pathways and tent entrances.
- It is advisable to pack a torch.
- The area is completely remote and electricity is generator driven - generators run from 6:00 to 11:00 and from 15:30 to 22:00 only. Mobiles and cameras can be charged in your tent.
- Hairdryers on request.
- There is a cash bar on site. Please note you are welcome to enjoy drinks that you bring into the camp at your own tent but kindly note that these are not allowed in the Daisy Lounge or the Diner.
- Please note that there are very limited credit card facilities available. Carrying cash is advisable and convenient.
- Limited Wi-Fi is available and only in certain areas.
- No ATM facilities are available in camp.
- No shop is available.
- The closest town is Garies (very small) which is 70 km from camp.
- Please note that the village has no cell phone reception.
- You will need to report to the SANParks office for registration and to pay your Visitor Fees before you enter the camp.
- Travel insurance is advised in case of emergencies whilst travelling in this remote area. TIC is a possible effective and affordable option.
- No pets are allowed.
- No self-catering or braais allowed.
- Flower Camps are only open during the flower season in August & September.
