Description

Nambiti Plains is an exclusive, intimate lodge in the heart of the malaria-free Nambiti Game Reserve, boasting accommodation with panoramic views of the open plains.

The reserve comprises 8900 hectares of pristine nature, including an abundance of natural water and a beautiful waterfall on the Sundays River making it a unique sanctuary.

The lodge offers accommodation in 3 honeymoon suites and 4 luxury suites. Each suite offers 180-degree panoramic views of the plains with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. Some suites offer air-conditioning and outside bush showers. These suites have open-plan en-suite bathrooms with large stone baths. Amenities include tea- and coffee-making facilities, freshly home-baked biscuits and French plunger coffee, a mini bar fridge, a hairdryer, a laundry basket and a private safe. The suites are furnished with extra-length king-size beds that can be converted into 2 single beds.

The lodge boasts big stone fireplaces for winter and a tucked-away swimming pool ideal for summer months where elephants frequently come to drink. The wraparound decks allow guests to admire wildlife up close and enjoy the variety of plains game drinking from the waterhole right in front of the lodge.

Nambiti Plains offers 2 game drives daily and additional excursions, such as heritage tours, are available.
