Description

Nqabara Eco River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Nqabara River in the Dwesa area of the Wild Coast. The lodge is very close to the River Mouth, and there is 1 800 hectares of natural forest and visitors to Nqabara can kick back and unwind on a 10 kilometer stretch of unspoiled beaches.

The main lodge has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 people. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering and features a stove, oven, and fridge-freezer. The spacious living comprises a dining area and lounge area with comfy seating and a TV with selected DStv channels. Outside is a large deck area.

There are 3 cottages, each with 2 furnished en-suite bedrooms that have 2 single beds each. There is also a kitchen with basic self-catering facilities and a lounge area. Outside, there is a large deck area.

As a low-impact eco-lodge, the entire place is run on solar technology. Water is harvested and stored in tanks. Waste is collected and disposed of in the nearby town of Willowvale. All travellers are welcome - from backpackers and volunteers, corporate guests, to small gatherings or conferences.

Please note that there are gravel roads en route to the lodge.
