Description
Named after the majestic Jackalberry tree that dots the landscape, the 6-sleeper self-catering Ntoma House offers sweeping views from every vantage point and is tucked away in a green woodland of Marula, Knob Thorn and Leadwood trees.
The air-conditioned Ntoma House offers a romantic and intimate experience and is the perfect hideaway, comprising 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, and a lounge. Two of the rooms are each furnished with 2 single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed, and the third bedroom contains a double bed. The rooms share the use of bathroom facilities with showers and toilets. For convenience, linen and bath towels, bathrobes, and slippers are provided.
The modern kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the 8-seater dining table that overlooks the outdoors.
The cosy lounge is equipped with a TV with an HDMI cable, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge. Guests can also relax in the small library with a good book.
The living areas open onto wooden viewing decks which offer additional dining and lounge areas with views of the swimming pool and bush around the lodge. A sundowner can also be enjoyed on the upstairs deck which offers lovely views of the surrounds and Drakensberg Mountains.
Guests can cool down in the swimming pool or garden, and make use of the boma braai facilities under the African sky.
Guests can go on a game drive in their own vehicle to view the abundant game on the estate, or go birdwatching at the raised hides at the 2 dams. Mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, and a spa experience is also available nearby with galleries, shops, and pubs in Hoedspruit.
