We unfortunately do not advertise TV/DSTV facilities on our listing.
Vicky did offer you a DVD player with a selection of movies which was declined.
Your accommodation that was booked was part of our current special of one-night free accommodation (in this case R850 free night) and was a self-catering booking.
Self-catering means that we do not service the cottages unless arranged by guests at an additional charge, and guests therefore enjoy more privacy.
To give our guests as much privacy to enjoy their stay as possible and to restrict contact due to the current pandemic, we do not bother our guests unnecessarily.
Our guests are informed by Vicky that she is available 24/7 per WhatsApp/SMS and/or phone call as needed or to address any issues to make your stay more comfortable (in this case the issue of the shower soap holder was only mentioned upon check out and was rectified the same day).
We thank you again for taking the time to review us and hope that you will visit our little village/town of Colchester again soon.
