Description

Oak Lane Cottages is situated on a working fruit farm in the Elgin Valley, and offering a rustic and relaxed environment.

Guests have a choice of 7 fully-equipped cottages; Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Songold, Starking, Bon Rouge, Braeburn and Rosemarie. The cottages are furnished with combination of double, single or bunk beds, and each has a private bathroom with a bath or shower. Each cottage is also equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a stove, as well as an oven. The cottages also have wood-burning fireplaces as well as outdoor braai facilities. A function hall is available to book for intimate weddings or parties. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed, and the units are non-smoking.

Activities on the farm include bird watching, picnics / swimming at the dam, walks and mountain biking; the Lebanon Mountain Biking Trails also starts on the farm. The scenic towns of Hermanus, and Greyton, Pringle Bay and Betty's Bay are all just a short drive away. The area offers the farm stalls, the Elgin Railway Market and various restaurants and wine tasting options.
