Oasis Vakansie Oord is a charming resort located in Uvongo, a coastal town at the heart of the Hibiscus Coast. The town offers travellers visiting the South Coast a perfect spot to explore the sun-licked beaches and coastline of KwaZulu-Natal and is famous for its beautiful beaches, natural forests and subtropical climate.

Accommodation is offered in a choice of 5 self-catering chalets which are ideally suited for families or groups of friends, or the campsite. The chalets are well-equipped to meet guests' needs and each features a TV in the open-plan living areas. There are 33 campsites on the camping grounds which can accommodate either tents or caravans.

Guests also have access to braai facilities on the premises while a recreation room is available to keep guests entertained. Secure parking is provided within the resort.

Apart from the beaches, Margate also offers some of the best snorkelling and diving in the country since the warm Indian Ocean currents bring with it a multitude of aquatic life. Other activities to enjoy in the area include surfing, sailing, canoeing, waterskiing and game viewing.
